Halloween Spook Fest!

I have been quite for a while because I was busy creating Halloween cards. Although, Halloween is not highly celebrated occasion here in the Middle East, I still decided to create some funky and funny-looking cards to give away.

Most of the patterned papers are I used were taken from scrapbook online sites which offer free patterned papers. The card stocks are A5 and folded. I used a creme colored satin ribbon for my "cute mummy." The googly eyes were from the craft shop here. I also inked the sides of the cardstocks for more vintage look and appeal with pigment inks. The background paper I used for the haunted house was from my stash of used cardstock which I crumpled and made to look distressed. I inked it further with Tim Holtz distress ink and other dark pigment inks I have for a more scary and dark look. The owl pattern is my own. I just doodled a slightly egg-ish shape and cut it. I used pastel color to highlight the feather-like strokes on the tummy area and of course, most of my ghoulish monsters were decked with cute googly eyes for effect. Some of my embellishments were adhered using foam pads for dimension. Lastly, the alphabets I used are stickers from Bo Bunny (which happens to be my fave brand!). The Boo-Hoo alphabets on the spooky owl card are cut outs from magazine which I glued on a black cardstock.

I hope you all like them!
